Cliffs of Moher Day Tour by Train

 

  • Depart from Heuston Train Station at 07:00 and head to the West of Ireland on your reserved train seats.

  • Travel through the suburbs of Dublin then through the gorgeous countryside of Kildare then venture through the Curragh, home to the famous racecourse.

  • You will change trains at Limerick Junction which will then be bound for Limerick and you will be fully escorted from Dublin to Limerick by your tour host.

  • When you arrive to Limerick you will get on the Railtours Ireland coach where you will pass various Gaelic and Rugby pitches but the most famous one would be Thomond Park, home to Munster Rugby team.

  • Once the short city tour is done you travel to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park and here you have time to explore to take pictures and explore the folk park.

  • Once you are finish at Bunratty Castle then you head for Co. Clare where there is a lunch stop at O'Connor's Pub in Doolin before heading to the infamous Cliffs of Moher.

  • There is plenty of time to visit the Cliff of Moher and your host will advise you of the time for departing.

  • Then when back on the coach, you head on the coast road while on the way to Galway - along with some time to take photos of the rocky landscape known as The Burren.

  • After passing Black Head and some little villages you will then be on the main road to Galway.

  • There will be some free time in Galway where you can explore the streets around Eyre Square or grab something to eat before heading back to Dublin.

  • You will depart Galway at by train and return to Dublin on a different route (via Athenry, Tullamore & Athlone).

  • Arrive back in Heuston at 21:45.
